A generous plain throw of pure new wool, 150 × 200 cm, in four calm colours, with fringes at both ends.

“Fjord” needs no pattern. A dense, finely woven cloth with a soft, slightly heathered look lets the colour do the work. Camel, sand, light grey and taupe sit easily beside sheepskins, cowhides and pale wood.

It is our largest throw and, at 260 g/m², the lightest weave: big enough to wrap up in on the sofa or to lay across a double bed, yet quick to fold away. The twisted fringes are tone on tone.

A throw for the living room on cool evenings, or an extra layer on the bed when the nights turn colder.

It also makes a lovely gift.

Wool rarely needs washing: airing it usually freshens it, marks can be dabbed with cold water, and if it needs more, take it to a professional cleaner.

Ask a question

Sometimes a little, and only at first. It's the natural smell of wool. Hang the sheepskin in a well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, and the smell will disappear within a few days.

Hardly at all. A few loose fibres may come off in the first days – that's normal, and a quick brush will remove them easily.

Most sheepskins don't need any special cleaning. Just give it a shake now and then and brush it with a wool brush to keep the wool fluffy and soft.

For stains, clean only the wool with a small amount of wool shampoo and a damp cloth. Keep the leather dry and dry the sheepskin lying flat, away from heat. We don't recommend machine washing, not even for medical sheepskins. Water soaked into the leather can make it stiff.

Of course. Pets love sheepskins. Shorter wool is the easiest to keep clean under little paws.
